The right question is almost never "how much". Most products in this category let the guest read something: a guide, a menu, a price list. Few let them send a request that actually reaches someone. Comparing prices of products that do different things is useless, so the column that matters here isn't price: it's whether the guest can ask, and whether anyone receives.
Where they're ahead
This part comes first because it's the one that matters. Most competitors connect to the property management system and send automated messages; we don't. Whoever integrates already knows who is arriving, when and in which room, and sends the link by itself. In Colgo that step is done by hand at the desk — and with twenty arrivals a day that's the friction that makes people stop using a product.
Accommodation: Colgo, Gastfreund, NAVOO, GASTiNFO
The honest comparison isn't €39 against €29. On the Gastfreund price list the €29 entry plan EXCLUDES requests: to get what Colgo does in its base plan you move to the higher tier, from €69 a month. And the two cheaper ones — NAVOO and GASTiNFO — have no higher tier that adds them: they simply don't do it, they're guides to read.
Colgo is paid per business: one price, whatever the number of rooms. Several competitors count per accommodation unit, so they start lower and grow with the property — the entry plans below are not like-for-like. Property management system (PMS) integration: Colgo no, almost every competitor yes, and that's the difference that weighs most. Competitor prices read on their own pages on 25 August 2026.

Food service: Colgo and Qromo
Here the only like-for-like comparison is Qromo, and it has to be done with the right figure: Qromo takes orders from the Pro plan, €49 annual or €59 monthly, not from the €29 plan — that one doesn't. With the correct numbers, what it costs to actually take orders is: Colgo Base €39, Qromo Pro €49, Colgo Pro €59. But Qromo Pro also does online payments and connects to Glovo and Deliveroo: we don't, and at the same price that's a real difference.

Shop: why no table is possible here
Here a table can't be made, and the reason is an honest one: there are almost no direct competitors. In Italy, whoever sells a "digital catalogue for shops" almost always sells a full e-commerce or a flip-through PDF, which is a different thing. The real comparison, for a village shop, is with Instagram, WhatsApp and the paper flyer — and that's what's worth measuring against, not a table that would be formally correct and commercially useless.
How to read these numbers
- Prices read on the suppliers' pages on 25 August 2026. Price lists change without notice: check the supplier's site before deciding.
- Where the price isn't public we wrote "on request" instead of estimating it. DigitalGuest, Guestnet and Re:Guest publish no figures.
- Figures preceded by "from" are minimums, not final prices: how much they rise with the number of rooms isn't public.
- We don't put in the table what we don't have yet: on-site and online payment is in development and stays out of the comparison.
RELATED QUESTIONS
Does Colgo connect to my property management system?
No, not yet. Orders and requests reach Colgo, not your PMS or your till. If your main goal is to funnel everything into one system, that's the point to weigh first. In the meantime the pre-arrival link can be pasted once into the automated messages you already send from Booking or Airbnb.
Why do you cost more than a €12 digital menu?
Because those €12 buy a menu to read. Colgo sends the order to the kitchen, handles tables, closes bills and keeps the sales history. If all you need is to show the menu, a €12 product is the right choice and we're happy to say so.
Below 15 rooms do you cost more than per-room pricing?
Yes, and it should be said: per-room pricing costs less while the rooms are few. But those products are guides to read: the guest can't send anything and nothing reaches the desk. It isn't the same product at two prices.
Can customers pay online?
No. With Colgo the customer prepares the request on their phone and pays at reception or at the till as they normally would. No money passes through us: no transaction fees, no payment data collected.
How is Colgo different from Gastfreund?
On the entry plan: Gastfreund's, at €29 a month, excludes guest requests; Colgo Base, at €39 a month, includes them. To get them from Gastfreund you move to the higher tier, from €69 a month. In the other direction: Gastfreund connects to the property management system, Colgo doesn't.
Colgo or Qromo, for a restaurant?
If you need orders: Colgo Base costs €39 a month, Qromo takes them from the Pro plan — €49 a month billed annually, €59 otherwise. The €29 Qromo plan doesn't take orders. But Qromo Pro also does online payments and connects to Glovo and Deliveroo: if you need those, the answer is Qromo.
What are the alternatives to Colgo?
For accommodation: Gastfreund, NAVOO, GASTiNFO, DigitalGuest, Guestnet, Re:Guest. For food service: Qromo. For shops there are almost no direct competitors, and the real comparison is with Instagram, WhatsApp and the paper flyer.
